  • This is the most beautiful house in Havana and the whole Cuba. I just loved it! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Parque Central- great for exploring the Old Town, Malecon and the whole Havana. Breakfast was superb, room really spacious, clean and beautiful and the living room is just so unique and gorgeous. Amanda is a great host, full of great tips and advice. She was really helpful and arranged someone to pick up my valuables that I left behind in Viñales which I was very grateful for. She really made an extra effort and made us feel at home. which made our stay more memorable and special. Overall, fantastic experience, unique stunning casa in the heart of Havana with the best host. I would highly recommend staying there.

  • This is the one! The location is wonderful and the home is fabulous. There are 50 marble stairs to walk up but it didn't feel difficult even at the end of a long day sight-seeing. Amanda is a font of local knowledge and provided an excellent map of the area.

  • This is where you want to stay!! When I return I will only be booking with Amanda. She truly understand how to host and takes it very seriously. She’s so kind and knows so much about cuba. This is probably the closest you’ll get to a traditional North American/European stay in Cuba!

  • This guesthouse is great for exploring Havana. In walking distance from the old center and el Malecón. Right after we made the reservation, Amanda gave us a lot of information about Havana and Cuba. During our stay we didn't met Amanda. Some staff members speak English, which was convenient for us. The breakfast was nice (Cuban standard). The room is a bit small, but clean and nicely decorated. We liked the soft towels and great water pressure of the shower. The common room is very beautiful. It's nice to stand on the balcony and watch people walking by. Definitely recommended!

  • We loved staying with Amanda. She made us feel really welcome and went out of her way to help with suggestions about places to see and eat to arranging a car tour and taxi to the airport. As we speak no Spanish we found her help invaluable. It was also really interesting to hear about how people are living in Cuba. Our room was cool and spacious and we slept really well. The shower was lovely and there were plenty of towels. The common area is comfortable and has loads of interesting items to look at. Although we didn't use it as we were out the whole time the use of the kitchen is really handy. Having a little fridge in your room for some cold water was great too. Location wise it is a gentle 10 minute stroll to where the main bars and restaurants are which gives you time to walk off the Cuba Libres! Talking of drinks I would thoroughly recommend Amanda's fruit daiquiri!! The stairs were a little steep and there is no lift so our faces dropped when we realised we had so much rum in our suitcases that they were a little heavy! But we had a helping hand up and down them. Thanks so much for that! This is a great place to stay and I would thoroughly recommend it.

  • 房间不错,床品很舒服。位置也好,到各个景点步行十分钟内,旁边几步路就是上网小广场。

  • “Thank you for your hospitality during my trip.I had good time in here, Amanda ! You gave me a lot of suggestions, helped me make the reservation for eat and shuttle,The casa was good value, 3-5 mins walked to the capitol, close to melecon”

  • Recomiendo esta casa! Muy bien ubicada, linda, y con desayuno completo y rico.

  • Amanda was simply an outstanding host. She was very communicative right from the start with a lot of helpful information and tips about Havana, and she is quick to respond to messages. She always makes time to help you with anything you need and she is the loveliest person to have a chat with. The room itself was great and it came with everything I needed for a wonderful stay. Very well located within walking distance to Old Havana, I would highly recommend Amanda’s beautiful casa if you are considering a place to stay

  • Amanda and Alexander are absolutely amazing!!! We stayed in 3 casas during our time in Cuba, but this was by far the best one!! I've stayed in AirBnB's all over the world, but this place truly captures the essence the AirBnB experience. They made our experience in Cuba amazing and unique- if not for Amanda we wouldn't have been able to see some of the local spots we got to. Amanda is so warm, kind and inviting. Thank you for showing us where to go and for that wonderful night of Rumba. She gave us so many recommendations, helped us make reservations at restaurants, even coordinated our taxi's to Vinales, and helped us not get ripped off ;) She truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and immersed in Cuba. Their home is beautiful and gorgeous. The amenities are lovely and the bathroom is very up to date and lovely. The rooms are toward the back of the house, so it's quiet. It is a 3 story walk up, but absolutely worth the view. It's prime location, it's very close to old Havana and the Capitol, but not in old Havana (where I would not recommend staying). It's more peaceful to stay outside of old Havana where there are too many tourist. It's nice to be amongst the locals. The living room and dining area are just gorgeous! Honestly, I just loved lounging around the living room having a cup of coffee or Alexanders house special rum cocktail. Every day and night was different thanks to them. I've already recommended their casa to 3 of my friends who will be visiting this year.

    — Leti (Paraguay), 29 Jan 2019
  • The place is just like the pictures, SUPER NICE! I was impressed by how modern was the bathroom! Better than any 5* fancy hotel. Amanda helped us to find a nice place to stay the next day, that meant a LOT for us since we didn't have WiFi to book a quick Airbnb but she spent the time contacting her friend for us. Good location, good value, good breakfast! This is it... don't look for any other place. Amanda, please say hi to Dayana and kiss Sorpresa and Sombra for me, I LOVED THEM!

    — Geovanna, 22 Jan 2019

    — Odile (France), 19 Jan 2019
  • I loved my stay at Amanda’s casa. The room was clean and comfortable with eclectic, stylish touches throughout. The casa is in a great central location, a short walk to Old Havana, the Capitol and the Central plaza (which is the meeting point for many of the Airbnb experiences). Amanda is a warm and engaging person and she provided lots of helpful tips and suggestions for things to do. I am looking forward to my next stay at Casa Fenton!

    — Azin (USA), 16 Jan 2019
  • We loved our stay at Amanda's. Our room was beautifully made up, and the bathroom was pristine. The living space was free to use and we felt comfortable chilling there and hearing Amanda's wonderful stories! We spent most of our time exploring Havana on her recommendations (two fantastic restaurants nearby in Havana Centro) and Havana Viejo, about 5-10 mins walk away. Breakfast was also excellent. I forgot something so had to return to pick it up three days later, and it felt like coming home to an old friend!

    — Jonathan, 09 Jan 2019
  • Amanda is a great host, she was helpful, kind, full of attentions and good advices. The house is very beautiful and located in a very interesting neighbourhood of the city. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here! Thanks Amanda, see you soon!

    — Cristiana (Italy), 08 Jan 2019
  • My husband and I just loved Amanda's place, which was the best place we stayed during our trip in Cuba! We even wanted to extend our stay, however it was fully booked at that time. Great location, walkable distance to the main sights of Havana. The common area and rooms are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and cosy. Breakfast were beyond great with many different options. We enjoyed traditional cuban cocktails class that Amanda organized. We are very thankful for all the useful tips for traveling around, and for making us feel like home!

    — Sandra (Sweden), 07 Jan 2019
  • Amanda’s place is AMAZING! I loved that there were other guests staying there. This allowed us to make friends with whom we later had dinner with and shared our favourite Cuban spots. Amanda was always available to answer any questions and provide many suggestions of the best places to visit, eat and see (I asked many questions as I didn’t realise how much I relied on the internet for research when travelling). Amanda was like your own personal trip advisor. She booked us the perfect old vintage car for a 2 hour city tour and got us a very reasonable price. Amanda told us the best places to buy Cuban cigars and rum and which bands to buy. She marked many places on our map and provided extra touches in our room like the lonely planet Cuba book. She organised a car to pick us up at 2am for an early flight and even stayed up on Christmas morning to ensure the car was running on time. She stayed up late on our arrival night to greet us and show us her house and our room. Amanda organised a great Cuban cocktail class where we made all the Cuban classics. Amanda contributed to making our Cuban holiday a memorable one. We highly suggest this place for anyone visiting Cuba as it is very central to old town and most of the sites to see. Amanda is from England so she speaks fluent English and also fluent Spanish so is able to book and organise things for you. A 10/10 from us!

    — Jessica (Australia), 26 Dec 2018
  • Amanda's place is perfectly central, just a short walk or taxi to anything you can imagine. Amanda is so connected, she knows where to find anything you may need. For example, her suggestion for a half afternoon beach destination was so relaxing! Highly recommend a stay here based on her beautiful listing and warm hospitality.

  • This was one of the most adorable stays we’ve ever had. Amanda and Alexander are super lovely people. They welcomed us although we arrived super late at night. They gave us many suggestions, organized drivers, and always had an answer. The flat is most beautiful, 5min walk from the old town, the breakfast was really good and the staff serving us super lovely. Thanks so much Amanda and Alexander for making the stay unforgettable!

  • Fantastic stay at Amandas. It's my second stay in Cuba at a case and this accommodation made it even better than the last. Extremely comfortable rooms with fans and new aircon units and toilets that are to the same standard as europe with great water pressure & heat. Impressively fitted out considering just how difficult it is to get simple amenities in cuba! Love the classic & simple cuban breakfast & Amanda was extremely helpful in facilitating tours & transfers. In the heart of old town so expect shabby (but beautiful in their way) streets - just two or three blocks in a straight line from hotel ingleterra in the main square so its easy to get your bearings and get home even without a map. (quick tips for cuba: taxi is easy to get on arrival - standard price to This place is 25cuc. Know the address cross streets so you can show the driver! Internet in cuba can only be accessed by buying 1-hour at a time etecsa wifi vouchers locally +used in public areas- amanda will ensure you know where & how to use and she can facilitate some calls at a cost which is helpful. please leave any extra soaps or conveniences you have for the local people + tip well as it is a commission based society for most.) Highly recommend !

  • Amanda's Casa was so much more than we expected, it was beautifully finished and whilst elegant also had a really homely feel to it. Her hospitality was fantastic as was the breakfast with amazing bread rolls and cheese, avocado, fresh fruit and eggs. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel really at home. Unlike a lot of other Casas in Havana there were many amenities we weren't expecting to find such as beach towels, hair dryers and hot running water! So if you're looking for some home comforts this is the place to stay. The location was great as was walking distance to a lot of places, around 7 minutes to Parque Central. Internet can only be used at hotspots in Havana but the Casa is only a couple of minutes from a main one. Also good walking distance to Malecon and Havana Vieja. Lots of restaurants and lunch spots which Amanda can recommend so was easy to make use of her extensive knowledge of Havana. All in all would definitely recommend and am looking to come back again!

    — Alice (England), 24 Nov 2018
  • After staying with Amanda and her husband Alexander for a week, we were made to feel so welcome and the rooms were absolutely wonderful. The Casa is incredibly comfortable, and in a fantastic location to get into the main streets of Havana. Not to mention 2 wonderful dogs that are happy to keep you entertained (Sorpresa and Sombra).

The rooms air con and lighting worked perfectly at all times, and the bathrooms were excellent. They were kept incredibly clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Main central park Havana is a short walk away so you are ALWAYS close to shops and WiFi zones.

But the crux of it all, is that I would rate this 10 out of 5 if I could. As it was incredibly comfortable, and Amanda did her absolute best to make us at home. Even when we had some problems, Amanda was there to help us in whatever way she could, she truly went above and beyond. Her insider knowledge is phenomenal and she had the contacts and knowledge for every occasion - we learnt more from Amanda and Alexander than any museum.

The Casa is a beautiful house, Amanda made it a home - and I couldn't recommend this place more. If you do stay in Havana, stay here!

  • Great location, lovely decor and beautiful touches throughout. Amanda is a great host, full of tips and local knowledge with helpful suggestions for restaurants, dance venues and events, all invaluable for a short stay in Havana. We wanted for nothing and the generous breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

  • Amanda is an extraordinary host who made my stay in Havana unforgetable! She made me feel like at home and blessed me with lots of valuable information, advice and help to get to Vinales. Thank you very much for all the effort and care! I definitely recommed Fentons Boutique and will come back again for sure! Many thanks,Eva

  • The Most Incredible Experience - unforgettable Stay
I've just come back from 2 weeks staying with Amanda and am already looking at when I can go back as I had such a wonderful time. My mama and I were made to feel incredibly welcome and the twin room we shared was spacious, bright, clean and well air-conditioned. The casa itself is decorated beautifully - very in keeping with its rustic surroundings but with modern amenities such as rain showers, fairy lights and the most amazing breakfast table.
The location is great too as its a short 5-10 minute walk to Parque Central (centre of town) You can easily reach the various districts on foot but Amanda also knows a lovely man called Dixon who arranged Bici taxis (sort of like a cross between a bicycle and a rickshaw) to get us around town if we wanted to.
The casa is a 5 minute walk down to the Malecon (seafront) which makes it an ideal place to be if (mad like me!) you've packed your running gear and fancy an early morning jog!

Breakfast every morning was a veritable feast with fresh fruit, fresh juices, hot (very strong!) coffee, tea, mango jam and honey, huge locally-sourced bread rolls, avocado, cheese, and our choice of eggs. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the beds were super comfy.
You can't drink the tap water in Cuba but there is a large supply of bottled water to purchase from the casa if you need to. We were next to the little kitchenette so just put bottles in our room's mini-fridge when we ran out and kept a tally to settle up when we left. There were also small bottles of water and refrescos (coke, lemonade etc) to buy if we wanted them.

Amanda was the Cuban co-ordinator of a group holiday jointly run by Que Rico Cuba and Salsa Julia. This meant that she was at the very heart of all of our organised activities and made sure our trip ran as smoothly as possible. She also seemed to know everyone there and was a fountain of information when it came to deciding where to go for dinner, what to do in our free time, and where the best parties would be at night!

As we were staying with her we got to see just how much work she put in to ensuring we had the right transport at the right time, and adapting the itinerary when things inevitably shifted (that's just how Cuba is - expect the unexpected!) More often than not she was up later than us and again before we woke to triple check and confirm all of our experiences and we're so grateful for all the hard work she put in to make sure we fell in love with the place.

When I've saved enough money to go back to Cuba, Amanda will be the first person I get in contact with and The Boutique Casa is the only place I want to stay <3

  • Our first Casa - great experience
We stayed with Amanda for 3 nights, she made such an effort to make us feel comfortable.
The room was large, and the bathroom was super modern.
The entire Casa has a great feel to it, very central and super convenient to get around.
Amanda was a great host, very knowledgeable and it really helps having someone who speaks English to give you tips as Cuba is not the easiest place to get around.
Amanda thanks so much for being so wonderful.
    Definitely recommended!!

  • Unforgettable Stay In Cuba
Amanda's beautiful casa is centrally located in Havana. Her entire home and rooms have a touch of old havana, rustic but with modern comforts. From the moment we booked our stay, we received a full guide with top tips to prepare for our trip to Cuba including everything we needed to know about arriving at the airport, transfers etc. Amanda is very knowledgable about Cuba and gave us lots of suggestions for places to eats etc and speaks fluent English (which was a dream! although we loved our cultural experience at trying to speak Spanish!) Amanda's stay provided a full breakfast to start the day, with eggs cooked how you like, fruit, coffee, toast, local cheese and fresh juices! Our rooms were supplier with big bottles of water which was such a lovely surprise as well. The Fenton's boutique also has very cute dogs that are super friendly and well behaved! Most of all, Amanda helped coordinate day trips and organised a whole day tour for us with her local drivers - this really made our trip memorable and special, as trying to organise this with locals off the street was very hard. THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything you did for us! We cannot recommend you enough to our friends here in Australia! We hope to be back soon :) xxx

  • “A wonderful stay with great hosts in an authentic but modernised Cuban Casa. Invaluable local knowledge, advice and tips from Amanda (an English ex-pat who’s been living in Cuba for 5 years). Amanda couldn’t go far enough to make our stay special including great breakfasts and first night dinner, arranging trips and excursions and insider local knowledge on local spots away from the tourist trail that we would not have known about without her. Other positive features of the room included excellent air-con (essential!) and modern bathroom. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back.”

She was very accommodating, gave us fabulous recommendations fo around Havana and was always available when we needed anything. We loved the way she decorated her apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our room, shared living room and collective breakfasts with others guests. I highly recommend staying here.”

  • “The Fenton’s is what I always dreamt Havana would be like. It was a chic, stylish and comfortable home set in the midst of Havana’s unique and busy social life. The sensitive restoration and decoration of the flat enhances the historic charm of the building. I felt lucky to be welcomed by Fenton’s and Co, into the neighborhood, as if I were a family member. I quickly learned you can be alone if you want at The Fenton’s but why would you? It’s more fun to be part of Havana. Everyday you’re greeted by an enormous breakfast of the freshest jungle fruits available, breads, toast, coffee, tea, exotic freshly made fruit juice, cheese and pate de fruit with a proper English table setting. Ask any question about what to do or the newest site to see and you’ll be swamped with options. If you left anything behind at home the Fenton’s most likely have it on the property or they’ll get it for you. It’s classic concierge service with a smile and maybe a shot of rum.”

  • Best casa particular in Havana
Amazing restored casa particular. 5 stars... close to everything you want to be close to, super cool decor, extremely comfortable and the best hosts you can have. ❤️ Amanda Fenton is just amazing. Book it now, until someone else do!

  • “If you have a difficult time choosing what Casa to book in Havana now is the moment to stop hesitating and book! I am so happy that I chose this place. My son and I had a wonderful stay and I only have good thing to say about our stay there. Our room was very nice with its own bathroom and I don’t think you can find such a nice bathroom in any other room in Havana. It was close to everything. Amanda was a great host. She made us the best breakfast we had on the entire vacation . She also help us with many thing that she did not have to just so we could get the most out of our stay in Havana. The communication was great and she sent us a lot of info already before the arrival. So when we came to the airport we already knew what to do and not to do thanks to her. So don’t look any further this is the best place to stay!! ”

  • This was my second stay at Fentons Casa and it was fantastic. The cleanliness was beyond good and the en suite shower/toilet was divine - water is precious in Cuba so I respected that but the shower pressure was awesome!! I appreciated the touches of the hairdryer, picnic bag, beach towels and access to a kitchenette. I was able to keep some drinks and fruit cold in my mini fridge in my room but being able to access water and a wider range of drinks and facilities in the kitchenette was fantastic. I didn't use the kitchen or many of the facilities this time as my trip was so short but last time over the two weeks I did extensively. Amanda was on hand to answer any questions and make suggestions and her in depth local knowledge invaluable - oh and brunch was out of this world. The best casa by far I have stayed in over the last 9 years in Havana. Highly recommend - quality, cleanliness, facilities and hospitality 5*****. Having access to the living area, balcony, shared spaces filled with antiques, comfortable seating with TV and music or just enjoying the passing Havana life from the balcony was priceless. Cannot wait to return - thanks Amanda and Alex - first class. An oasis of tranquility and luxury in a conundrum of a city/country that I love but can challenge you day-to-day.

    — Amanda (Ascot, UK), 16 Jul 2018
  • Amanda was a fantastic host. She was around every day to chat and answer questions about Havana and Cuba more broadly. Breakfast every morning was delicious and so nice in her renovated kitchen. The room was a great size with its own bathroom, and everything was very comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The area is good - very central and walkable to all of the major attractions you would think of in Havana. Amanda is always willing to give recommendations and connect you with people who can provide experiences/services. Hospitality was consistently above and beyond what we would have ever expected.

  • Amanda went above and beyond to make our stay special! She and her husband are beautiful people with give you space but there if you need anything. The casa is very beautiful and the breakfast outstanding, the best we had in Cuba. Stay there if you can and stay in the less touristy part of Havana

  • Absolutly amazing casa in the heart of Havana. The place is well designed, and the hosts helped us with everything we needed- information, planning our trip, great recommendations and so on. Highly recommended casa!

  • Having stayed at many other casa's in Havana this is the best! Fabulous hosts who help you in so many ways with thoughtful extra's you don't get at other casa's such as the loan of a local sim card, cool bags, luxury towels, information guides, breakfast included etc. Host Amanda is English but has lived in Havana for many years so she can help with local information, recommendations, questions, etc. Usually in Havana the hosts speak very little English and they are not easily accessible whereas Amanda is constantly on hand or a phone call away to speak to in English which makes a huge difference if you don't speak fluent Spanish. The casa has been thoughtfully restored and is very beautiful, with particular attention been paid to the quality of furnishings in the bedrooms and the bathrooms being to a European/Western standard with great showers. Other casa's I have stayed in are usually far more basic and the showers often are not very warm with little water pressure. All in all a fabulous casa and I was made to feel very welcome and a part of the family, thank you Amanda and Ale!

  • We had a wonderful three nights in Amanda and Alejandro’s beautiful place. The breakfast each morning was delicious, the decor was stunning, the location was great and Amanda was very helpful with helping us to organise things. We especially enjoyed our evening at a local Cuban rumba club that Amanda took us to. Would definitely recommend and thank you again!

  • Amanda and her husband are really nice! They help you as much as they can, the breakfast is so delicious, you have plenty food for a busy day in La habana and the house was really awsome. They sent me a PDF prior to my check in with all the information about Cuba and when we arrived they lent us books and maps. The house has many amenities, comfortable beds, natural light, a beautiful balcony with chairs and also a TV with cable but you don´t need it, is so nice to talk with Amanda and her husband about Cuba and their lifestyle. This place is the best place to stay in La Habana!!!

    — Lizz (Atlanta, USA), 21 May 2018
  • We stopped for two nights. 1-2 May. All very good. Amanda wonderful !! Organized a transfer, helped with the exchange of local pesos, advised an excellent stay in the next city. Everything is very clean. Excellent shower. Tasty breakfast.

  • Stunning and beautifully restored Cuban casa in the heart of Havana. Fabulously helpful and attentive hosts with a vast knowledge of Cuban life and the best places to visit and of course dance! You won’t be disappointed.

  • Such an amazing casa, so full of character. The bathrooms are ‘home from home’, which is quite unusual in Cuba and breakfast is so plentiful I didn’t need to eat lunch.
